Do I have to compete in all three events?
Yes. A competitor must compete in all three sports in order to be included in the final event results and prize purse.

Where is the location of each event?
California. The Snowboarding will take place at SQUAW VALLEY USA and the
skateboarding and surfing will happen at and across the street from the
VENTURA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.

What sport do the athletes compete in first?
Snowboarding. Followed by surfing and ending with skateboarding.

How old do I have to be to compete?
On the first day of the Event, April 13, 2008, all entrants must be at least either 18 years of age or 16 years of age with notarized parental or guardian consent.

Is this a professional or amateur event?
Both. The ULTIMATE BOARDER™ team has decided to combine both pros and amateurs in this inaugural event. We are truly looking for the ULTIMATE BOARDER™. Thus, amateurs will be allowed to compete against pros and vice versa.

How many athletes will be competing?
Currently, we have a guaranteed spot for 50 athletes.

Is this an invitational?
Yes, a select number of pro athletes will be invited to compete.

What is the prize money and how does it break down?
Prize Purse: $50,000.00 USD

2nd = $10,000 Silver
3rd = $5,000 Bronze
4th = $1,500
5th = $1,000
6th = $800
7th = $600
8th = $500
9th = $400
10th = $200

Will you be selling souvenirs at the event?
Yes, a variety of t-shirts, hats, posters and other items will be sold on site. Please stop by the Official UB Merchandise booth and purchase your souvenir.

Will you be selling event merchandise online?
Official event merchandise will be available online in the ULTIMATE GEAR section after the event.
